Fine with me. It’s the only federal agency that actually sells a product, yet it is broke as fuck and I can’t get the correct mail in my box, either at home or at work. Postal workers are the most worthless pieces of shit in the government workforce.
Recently I had an amputation of my lower left leg. Finally home and getting used to everything again. Today I received an email stating that my services will be no longer required at their company due to the fact I am not an able bodied person. I call my guys I know there and they all knew about it. Got the good luck and you'll find something else spiel. There are lots of different jobs there like cable splicers, rigging inspection, site mapping, etc, that do not require being able to run or carry huge weight. They flushed me like a used toilet paper. Granted going from crew leader to maintenance or whatever would burst my ego, but fuck.
It isn't like I have worked with this company that long but I did not expect to get cut like that. On my phone there is more than 60 numbers of places that would take me for my machining and cnc skills alone, not my first choice of professions though. But the place I was working at paid the most insane money. And I have all the things I need to travel doing pipeline work or the like.
Got a decent nest egg to live on till I get normal and I carry my own insurance so not worrying about that. Just a wakeup call I guess to not get too comfortable in life because things can change fast. Be careful fellow goats and take care of yourselves.
This year, I have noticed a distinct decrease in Nigger Month bullshit and other assorted We Wuzzery in February. It's still there I'm sure.
I have been able to avoid a lot of it that I didn't seem to be able to before. Also, It seems like I'm not being overly bombarded with it either. Anyone else notice this?
